What we collect

To send a fax, Cheapfax collects:

• Your Firebase user ID (always)
• The fax document you upload (kept for 30 days, then deleted)
• The recipient number, page count, status, and timestamp
• Apple In-App Purchase transaction IDs and product IDs
• Email address — only if you sign in with email

How we use your data

Your document is transmitted to Sinch, our fax provider, only for the purpose of delivering the fax. Sinch is configured to not retain your media. We do not analyze the contents of your documents and do not use them for any other purpose.

Where data is stored

All data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) in the us-east1 region. Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).

Retention

Documents and receipts are deleted 30 days after being sent. Account metadata (balance, fax history) is retained until you delete your account.

Account deletion

Open the app → Settings → Delete account. All your data is removed within 24 hours.

Third-party processors

• Google (Firebase) — backend hosting and authentication
• Apple — In-App Purchase processing
• Sinch — fax transmission

Your rights

Email support@cheapfax.app to request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion. We respond within 30 days.
