Can I send a fax from an iPhone without a fax machine?+
Yes. Cheapfax is a fax app. Scan the pages with the camera or pick a PDF, type the number, and send. No fax machine and no phone line.
Can I receive faxes with it?+
No. Cheapfax sends faxes. It doesn't receive them and doesn't give you a fax number.
What can I send?+
A PDF, a photo, or a scan. Scan with the camera, import from Files or Photos, or share a PDF from another app. You can add a cover sheet.
What if a fax doesn't go through?+
If a transmission fails, we refund it to your balance automatically. You're only charged for pages that actually send.
Do my credits expire?+
Never. Buy ten pages today, send one now and nine next year.
Is it cheaper than faxing at a UPS Store or Staples?+
Usually, and you don't have to go anywhere. A counter charges by the page too, and you drive there to pay it. Cheapfax is 50¢ per page from your phone.
