How to delete an account

Open the app and go to Account. Tap Delete account. Type the word delete to confirm, then tap the button. The account is removed right away.

What is deleted

Everything tied to the account is removed: the account itself, the fax history, stored documents and receipts, the credit history, and the address book. This is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Any credits still on the account are lost. Credits are bought through the app store and are not refunded when an account is deleted, so use them first if you want to.

The only thing that stays is what has already been counted in daily usage totals. Those are anonymous numbers with nothing in them that points back to a person or an account.

What happens to documents

Every document and receipt is deleted automatically 30 days after the fax is sent, whether or not the account still exists. Deleting the account removes them at once instead of waiting for the 30 days.
